We are a small company providing tailoring and alteration services to shops and private customers
Carmen's Tailoring Studio opened in 2009 and we are proud to have worked with big brands offering clothing alterations as well as making quite a few bespoke garments for our private clientelle.
Our studio is a relaxed place, our clients are working around Covent Garden area or are students in the area
We are easily accesible by tube at Leicester Square Station which is 1 min away.

I had asked for a sewing service for 4 trousers Carmen made one pair and decided on the day of me collecting the first pair because another customer who had come in that morning had a better offer for her to make more money she didn't want to do the rest which she said to my face worst customer service ever! fully knowing that I had been let down by a previous seamstress and that this was a rush job to turn around 4 trouser. I paid £150 for trousers that have waistband sewn the wrong way around and pockets are different on the inside, trouser have not been pressed not crease down the centre. In my 10 years of working in the tailoring industry I have never come across this type of behaviour from an established business. I feel like she saw an opportunity to make quick money. Carmen offered no resolution to fix her mistakes, no apology apart from telling me she could have charged more!
